GeoPix processes all data entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

1. Who We Are

GeoPix ("the App", "we", "us") is an iOS application developed for photography enthusiasts who want to batch-add GPS GeoTag information to photos taken with DSLR or mirrorless cameras. The App is published on the Apple App Store.

2. Data We Access

To deliver its core functionality, GeoPix requests access to the following on-device resources:

  • Photo Library — to let you select photos and write GPS EXIF metadata back to them. Access is granted via the iOS system photo picker; we only read or modify photos you explicitly select.
  • Location (optional) — used only when you tap "Use Current Location" on the map screen, to center the map on your present position. We do not track your location in the background or store it.

We do not access your contacts, microphone, camera roll in bulk, or any other system resource beyond the above.

3. How Data Is Used

  • Photo data is read solely to display thumbnails and to write GPS coordinates into EXIF metadata — all on-device.
  • GPS coordinates you select on the map are written into the selected photos' EXIF data and are not sent anywhere.
  • GeoLog journals (location name, notes, linked photos) are stored in your device's local storage only.
  • App preferences (language, export settings) are saved in UserDefaults on your device only.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party. GeoPix contains no analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services that transmit personal data off-device.

The App uses Apple's native frameworks (MapKit, Photos, Core Location) which are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

All data created by GeoPix lives on your device. You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the App from your iPhone. Removing the App permanently deletes all GeoLog journals and preferences.

Photos saved as new copies remain in your Photos library until you delete them through the Photos app.

6. Children's Privacy

GeoPix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

2. 我们访问的数据

为提供核心功能，GeoPix 需请求访问以下设备资源：

  • 照片库 — 用于选择照片并将 GPS EXIF 元数据写入照片。访问通过 iOS 系统照片选择器完成；我们仅读取或修改您明确选择的照片。
  • 位置（可选） — 仅当您在地图界面点击"使用当前位置"时，用于将地图中心定位到您所在位置。我们不在后台跟踪您的位置，也不存储位置数据。

我们不会访问您的通讯录、麦克风、批量相册或上述以外的任何其他系统资源。

3. 数据的使用方式

  • 照片数据仅用于显示缩略图以及将 GPS 坐标写入 EXIF 元数据——所有操作均在设备本地完成。
  • 您在地图上选择的 GPS 坐标将写入所选照片的 EXIF 数据，不会上传至任何服务器。
  • 行摄志日记（位置名称、备注、关联照片）仅存储在设备本地。
  • 应用偏好设置（语言、导出选项）仅保存在设备的 UserDefaults 中。

4. 数据共享与第三方

我们不会出售、出租或与任何第三方共享您的数据。GeoPix 不包含任何会将个人数据传输至设备外的分析 SDK、广告网络或崩溃报告服务。

本应用使用 Apple 原生框架（MapKit、Photos、Core Location），这些框架受 Apple 隐私政策约束。

5. 数据保留与删除

GeoPix 生成的所有数据均存储于您的设备上。您可随时从 iPhone 上卸载本应用以删除所有应用数据，卸载将永久删除所有行摄志日记及偏好设置。

以"保存为新副本"方式添加 GPS 标签的照片将保留在您的照片库中，直到您通过"照片"应用手动删除。

6. 儿童隐私

GeoPix 不面向 13 岁以下儿童。我们不会有意收集儿童的任何信息。

7. 政策变更

我们可能不时更新本隐私政策。页面顶部的"最后更新"日期反映最新修订时间。在修订后继续使用本应用，即视为接受更新后的政策。
